Description

This position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring the Supervisor s instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Tasks

Industrial Maintenance positions are responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of equipment to maintain continuous production. Applicant must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to complete computerized training programs and use computer software to document completion details of preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by the supervisor. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery. Must be willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis and be willing and able to stand for up to 12 hours. Applicant must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Must be able to communicate effectively to all team members and management to resolve mechanical failures as well as be able to read manuals in order to repair equipment safely. Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold environments with temperatures ranging from -10 to 100.

Requirements

Must be able to work weekends and overtime. Applicant must have three years of Industrial Maintenance experience. Related technical school or training will be considered in lieu of Industrial Maintenance work experience.
