2013 Honor Flight
Arkansas WWII veterans visit memorials in D.C. through Honor Flights sponsored by Tyson Foods and Walmart Foundation. Another Honor Flight from Arkansas is scheduled for October.
You will be hard pressed to find another company with a greater commitment to a
veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces than Tyson Foods. Our leaders and managers know
firsthand what a veteran brings to the company - hard work, dedication, an intense drive for results, and above all, integrity. Tyson Foods is the employer of choice for the military veteran.
It was important for me to work at a place that shared my values and respected our nation's military. I found all of that and more in Tyson Foods. I found a company whose Core Values and Cultural Tenets establish how we successfully work with each other and our customers.
Leaving the military for civilian life was one of the most difficult and unexpected events in my life. It was not until I left the military that I realized how much wearing the uniform defined me. Working for Tyson Foods supported this transition because they recognized the value of all skills, talents and unique management viewpoints veterans bring to the table.
